TAUBMAN'S PROFIT A decrease of £35.614 to £171.617 in consolidated net profit is shown in the accounts of Taubmans, Ltd.. Sydney, for the year ended September 30. The parent company’s profit of £163.321 is an increase of £28.097 after allowing £1660 less for depreciation at £25.672. Unchanged dividends of 17J per cent, ordinary and 5 per cent, preference require £100554 and £5OOO respectively. A sum of £35.000 is transferred to general reserve and £697 to capital reserve. Tlie carry-forward is £22,070 higher at £76,949.
