J. C. WILLIAMSON Net profit of £43.023 disclosed by J. C. Williamson Ltd.. Sydney, for the year ended June 30, is the best since 1929, and £4968 more than last year. Gross earnings rose by £9640 to £87,314, and the net result is struck after meeting £44,291 expenses (.increase £4672>. In addition to the regular ordinary dividend of 6 per cent., absorbing £22,500 out of profits, a special tax-free distribution of £2/18/9 per cent, is being paid, requiring £11,019. Unchanged preference dividend of G per cent, absorbs £10.200, and carry forward is reduced from £115,576 to £95,837 after adjustments to reserves.
