CHRISTMAS CANTATA TO BE SUNG IN ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH.

Lovers of Christmas music will have the opportunity of hearing a Christ-; mas Cantata entitled “The Nativity of, Christ” in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian • Church, Marton, tomorrow evening. , The Cantata includes the carols, “One 1 Christmas Day,” “Christmas Bells,” j “The Wondrous Story,” “The Star of' Bethlehem.’ “Gold Frankincense and ' Myrrh” and ‘Ring Out O Bells.” At the conclusion of the Cantata a | social hour will be held in the church ' hall, when there will be a few musical i items, and opportunity will be taken by the congregation and the P.W.M.U. ‘ to say farewell to Miss E. M. Kinross • and Miss E. M. Truman, who have re- i signed after 30 years’ service at the > Turakina Maori Girls’ College. The ladies are asked to bring a plate. All interested are cordially invited. At the afternoon service at the Marton Junction Presbyterian Church tomorrow a Christmas Tableau will be given by the children of the primary department.
