U.N. COMMITTEE SET UP TO FIND SOLUTION FOR JERUSALEM
NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (Recd. 6pm). —The United Nations special political committee today concluded its general debate on internationalisation of Jerusalem and established a 17-nation sub-committee to consider all the proposals in an endeavour to draw up a sokition. The general debate closed after Mr. Semyon Tsarapkin (Soviet Union) said the Soviet would insist upon the creation of an independent Arab State in Palestine, and the establishment of interational regime as a separate body in Jerusalem. Mr. Aubrey Eban (Israel) said attempts to impose an international regime on Jerusalem might breed resistance by the Jewish population.
