Parcels Sent To Rewi Alley By Wanganui Brownies, Guides and Rangers

During Guide Week held recently, the Girl Guide companies and Brownie Packs collected foods, seeds, school requisites etc., to send to the Rewi Alley School in China. Parcels have been made up as follows :—-Gonville Company, six parcels containing 321bs. of lood, 31bs. of seeds and 71bs. of school requisites, the weight being 421bs. St. Barnabas, 131bs. of foods in three parcels. Aramoho, 2 parcels with 31bs. of foods and 71bs. school requisites, making lOlbs. altogether. Manaakitia Co. was responsible lor 121bs. of foods in two parcels. St. Paul's Co., three parcels with 141bs.of foods and 71bs. school requisites (211b5.1. Christ Church Co., two parcels of foods weighing 141bs. Christ Church Brownie Pack, 2 patcels with 221bs. of foods. Wanganui East Pack, one parcel of 4slbs. ol seeds. St. Barnabas (Durie Hill) Pack, two parcels with 71bs. of foods and 31bs. of seeds. Gonville Pack (not quite completed), one parcel of approximately 71bs. of books and pencils, which will be sent shortly. Nga Kai Arahi Ranger Company, two parcels containing 221bs. of foods. Altogether the parcels forwarded number 26, with 1391b5. of foods, lOJlbs. of seeds and 281bs. of school requisites etc., the total weight being 177Hbs. All parcels have been inspected, and companies and packs have paid postage on same themselves.
