Mr. Ormond Wilson Gives Address At Taihape
TAIHAPE, Last Night (0.C.) —Mr. Ormond Wilsoit* M;P. for Palmerston North, addressed electors in the Town Hall, Taihape, tonight. The mayor. Mr. E. Loader, presided over a good attendance. Mr. Wilson dealt with the housing situation and said the shortage was due to the increased demand. Other subjects dealt with included control of imports, rent, land sales, and wages. Guaranteed price, private enterprise, and monopolies were also discussed by the speaker. At the conclusion of his speech, Mr. Wilson was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
