OTAGO CENTENNIAL BOOK SOLD OUT

DUNEDIN, Last Night (PA).— “Grand Hills For Sheep,” a story of early Otago life by Georgina McDonald, which won the “Otago Daily Times" centennial fiction contest, is out of print except tor a few copies which may be remaining in bookshops in the north. The entire edition was exhausted within three weeks of publication. Allocations to Dunedin and Invercargill were the first to go within the first ten days. Attempts to obtain stocks from the north were unavailing, as the demand throughout New Zealand for the book tar exceeded the anticipations of the publishers, Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd. It is understood that publication of a second edition of "Grand Hills For Sheep” is under consideration by the publishers, but some months must pass before copies become available.
