DOMINION WOOLS RISE AGAIN ON BRITISH MARKETS

LONDON, Nov 7 (Recd 6 pm).— Wool prices in the Dominion markets continued to dominate conditions in Yorkshire, where top and yarn prices show further advances in response to wool at the source, states the International Wool Secretariat special news service. Increases in top quotations last week was the most striking of the season, being threepence per lb. in some cases, and they bring the Merino top market to almost the highest point yet quoted since the war, while all crossbred tops are now quoted at the highest prices since the war.

The Joint Organisation has earned the thanks of the industry by announcing a specially generous offering of New Zealand crossbreds for the next London wool sales, opening on November 21, this being an effort to avoid a temporary shortage here pending the arrival of the first of the new season clips from New Zealand. The current Bradford top market quotations are: 70's A, 127 d; 70’s B, 123 d. 64’s A, 118 d to 119 d; 64’s B, 115 d; 60's super, 106 d; 60's average 103 d; 58’s super, 91d; 58’s, average, 88d to 89d; 56’s super, 73d; 50’s, 535; 48’s, 50d; 46 s 48d.
