Irish Boxer Gains Decision Against N.Z. Opponent; Mediocre Bout
WELLINGTON. Last Night (P.A.) Mediocrity was the keynote of a 1 ghtweight boxing contest between Paddy Dowdall (9.11?) champion of Ireland, and Percy Kelly (9.81), New Zealand champion, in the Town Hall tonight. Dowdall gained a points decision. Kelly was down for seven in the seventh round, but fought back well.
