ELECTION NOMINATIONS CLOSE NEXT WEEK
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).—Writs for the general election were issued today, and with their issue the closing date for the nominations was fixed. The date is November 16 at noon for candidates in European and Maori electorates. Registrars for various electorates will be advertising immediately the fact that nominations can now be received.
