NICHOLLS—On November 7, 1949, at Whakatane, Bertha, wife of the late J. F. Nicholls, formerly of Waverley. The funeral will take place at the Hamilton East Cemetery tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). PATTISON—On November 6, 1949, at Wanganui, Joseph Pattison, formerly of Castlecliff, beloved husband of the late Annie Pattison; in his 87th year. Friends kindly note that the funeral will arrive at the Aramoho Cemetery today (Tuesday, November 8, 194*9), at 2.30 p.m.—Dempsey and Sons, Wanganui. S.A.V. AND R.S.A.
