Lyell, £1 Is; 50 North Broken Hill, cum., £3 17s. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA). —Sales Reported: Felt and Textiles N.Z. (100), £1 16s 6d. WOOLWORTHS DIVIDENDS. The net profit of Woolworths (N.Z.) Ltd. for the year ended October 2 was £142,303, against £149,972 the previous year. The profit before tax was £337,303, against £379,972. The tax provision is £195,000, against £230,000. The figures are subject to completion of audit. At the annual meeting on December 6 the directors will recommend a final dividend of 10 per cent., making 15 per cent, for the year (unchanged). The dividend will be payable on December 15. Shares will be ex dividend on November 17.
