I The Collegiate School’s first eleven i won against Railway by an innings and 130 runs. School, in the first innings, made I 26S for two declared. Bowling for School Gliesen took six wickets for 31 runs, and Kettle two ■ for eight. T.0.8.’s WIN AGAINST MARIST. j In a match against Marist Techni- ' cal Old Boys gained an outright win. In the first innings Technical Old Boys made 141 Marist made 41 in the first innings and had to follow on, making 65 in the second innings. Technical Old Boys thus won by an innings and 25 runs. Bowling for Technical Old Boys, Ngan Kee took three wickets for nine runs, Kidd three for 11 and Cargill three for three. Cargill bowled eight overs, the first seven,.of which were maidens, three runs being scored off the last over. Best Marist batsmen in the first innings was D. Sullivan (11) and in the second innings K. Connor (11). WIN I OR P. AN D T. An outright win was secured by P. and T. in a match against Technical College. P. and T. made 188 runs in the first innings (Kendall 49, Bones 32 and Tyler 32 not out). Bowling for College, Poka took six wickets for 52 runs and Mann, two for eight. College made 110 in the first innings, the principal scorer being Ulniviti 35. Bowling for P. and T. Wallace took five wickets for 33 runs, Bones three for 34 and Stewart two for 24. P. and T. made 95 on the second innings Kendall 35 and Bones 31). Poka took seven wickets for College for 37 runs, and Gregory two for four. College second innings totalled 148, the principal scorers being Ulniviti (45), Poka (38) and Gregory (30). Bowling for P. and T. Wallace took five wickets for 41 runs, O'Keefe three for 53. A very close finish made this match exciting. College wanted 25 runs to win, and the last wicket fell 10 minutes before time.
