Clipper Beats TransAtlantic Record
LONDON, Nov. 5 (Recd. 6pm).— The Pan-American clipper Mayflower today beat the trans-Atlantic record from New York to London by 20 minutes. Carrying 45 passengers, the Mayflower completed the 3500-mile trip in 9 hours 21 minutes, averaging 381 miles an hour.
