MANY SERVICES LINKED TO CENOTAPH CEREMONY

LONDON, Nov. 6 (Recd 11 pm).— Throughout the British Isles today, in small churches and great cathedrals, at simple memorials on village greens and in the squares of towns and cities, thousands will attend services linking them with a great Remembrance Day ceremony. At the Cenotaph in London Their Majesties, Queen Mary, Princess Elibeth, Princess Margaret, the Duke of Gloucester and the Duehess of Kent will attend a ceremony which will be conducted by the Bishop of London. Navy, Army and R.A.F. detachments will flank the Cenotaph and at 11 a.m. a gun fired from the nearby Horse Guards Parade grounds will mark the beginning of two minutes silence. His Majesty, Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Gloucester will place wreaths on the Cenotaph. Later His Majesty will attend a special service at Westminster Abbey where wreaths will be laid on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. —Reuter.
