VICE REGAL. His Excellency the Governor-Gene-ral. Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C., and Lady Freyberg, were visitors to Palmerston North on Friday, when His Excellency opened the Royal Show. In the evening Their Excellencies, attended by Lieutenant Gordon Tait, R.N., left for Christchurch, Yesterday morning they attended Divine worship at Christchurch Cathedral and in the afternoon His Excellency unveiled a memorial. (PA.). Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rundle, of Nelson, are visitors to the city. Mr Rundle was former Collector of Customs at Wanganui.
