12 LIVES LOST WHEN PLANE CRASHES

HAMILTON (Bermuda), Nov. 3 (Recd. 6.sopm).—Eleven men aboard a Superfortress which crashed in flames into the sea about a mile off the coast tonight were killed. Four escaped and were rescued by a boat, but one died from burns. The plane, which was attached to a weather reconnaissance squadron at Kindley Field, had just left the field.
