Colonial Sugar Refining Coy’s Directors advise the payment on November 30 of an interim dividend of 18s per share (Australian currency) on account of the year ended March 31, 1950 ex dividend November 30, 1949. The Kauri Timber Coy. Ltd. advise a linal dividend, 3 p.c. plus a bonus of 1* p.c., making 6i p.c. for the year. The books will close from December 1 to 15, inclusive. The annual meeting will be in Melbourne on December 15, ex dividend December 1, 1949. Korma Textiles advise a preference dividend at a rate of 5 p.c. per annum for the half-year ended September 30, 1949, payable on December 1, 1949. The books will close from December 21 to 30, inclusive, ex dividend November 21. Timaru Worsted and Woollen advise an annual dividend of 6i p.c. on shares fully paid at October 19, ’4B. The Auckland Gas Co. advise that the repayment of “E” dbentures will be made on the presentation of debentures at the Bank of New Zealand on and after December 20, 1949.
