A recommendation that shrubs in a triangular area at the Rapanui Road corner should be removed in order to improve visibility' was made at the last meeting of the executive of the Automobile Association (Wanganui). It was suggested that there should be a grass plot to replace the shrubs. It was also decided to erect "Main Road Ahead’’ signs on the side road intersecting the Westmere Road corner because of bad visibility.
