Berlin Soviet Authorities Try To Ban Papal Decree
LONDON, July 23.—The Berlin Soviet zone authorities have applied a postal ban and pressure on priests in an aftempt to prevent the Pope’s excommunication decree against the Communists reaching Gormans in their zone. Cardinal Von Presying said however, that copies of the loading Berlin Catholic newspaper containing th e decree may be posted in eastern German Churches tomorrow.
