ACCIDENTAL DROWNING
A verdict that deceased met his > death as a result of accidental drowning at rangimoana was returned by the coroner, Mr H. E. Mayer, J.P., at an inquest in Feilding on Thursday, when evidence was heard concerning the death of Trevor Raymond Abbott, seven years, son of Mr and Mrs S. R Abbott, formerly of Tangimoana but now living at Marton. The hoy went missing at Tangimoana on May 28 and despite an extensive organised search extending ever several days, he was not found. On July 11 his body was found on the sea beach at Moana roa, near the mouth of the RangitiKei River.
