Officers Of National Rose Society Elected
WELLINGTON, June 19 (PA). —The following officers were elected at the 17th. annual meeting of the National Rose Society of New Zealand on Saturday. President, Mr. 1. V. Holyoake (Wellington); vice-president, Messrs. H. F. King (Waikato), J. A. McPherson (Auckland), W. H. Wilson (Hutt Valley and East Harbour), S. G. Pearce (Wellington), E. V. Pryce (Rangitikei), L. Morine (Manawatu), Dr. R. S. R. Francis (Hawkes Bay), M. J. Terry (Taihape), W. H. Reynolds (Wanganui) and R. G. Hosking (Whangarei), Mr. T. M. Glenie and Mrs. T. Stewart (Representing the growers outside existing societies). Honorary editor, Mr. F. Penn; hon. solicitor, Mr. F. T. Clere. The executive committee is: Messrs. M. Evans, F. J. Foot, H. M. Ibell, S. G. Pearce, W. H. Wilson and Mesdames F. J. Guinan, E. P. Norman with the president, editor and a secretary treasurer to be appointed by the executive. ”
