Wanganui Gun Club Hold Monthly Shoot; Detailed Results
Because the Waverley Gun Club was unable to field a team for the annual Challenge Shield match to have been held last Saturday, the match has been postponed until Saturday, July 30. In place of the shield match the Wanganui Gun Club held its monthly shoot. The weather was not favourable for good shooting, a fairly strong cross-wind making tricky targets of the birds. Despite this, some good shooting was recorded. Details:— Five-bird eye-opener: R. M. Spooner (16yds.) 5; J. Dunlop (18yds.) 4; C. W. Oates (18yds.) C. K. Ross (11yds.) and F. J.
