Wanganui Golf Club’s Stableford Competition Won By H. G. Carver
A stableford competition was played by members of the Wanganui Go! Club at the week-end. The winner o. the A grade was H. G. Carver, who for the second week in succession returned the best card with 38 stableford points, winning from R. Moore, who also secured 38 points, on tin count back. Third place went to V/. K. Creighton with 37. Tn the B grad.', D. T. Allan played well to gain 38 points, second place going to A. E. Dalgety with 35 and third to J. H. Henson with 34. Henson won from A. K. Hempton on the count back. In the final-of the summer fourball matches which had been delayed from early in the year and was played at the week-end, 11. G. Carver and B. D. Fitzgerald beat F. H. Drew and L. Keltie.
