LONG—On May 31, 1949. at Wanganui, May Irene (Minnie), beloved elder daughter of the late Frederick and Lucy Long, of Wanganui. R. 1.8. Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave St. Mary’s Church Victoria Avenue, for the Wanganu- Old Catholic Cemetery tomorrow (Thursday, June 2, 1949), at the conclusion of Requiem Mass, which will be celebrated at 9 a.m.—Dempsey and Sons, Wanganui. STEELE —On May 30, 1949, at his residence (suddenly), Frederick Alfred, dearly loved husband of Adelaide Sophia Steele, of No. 17 Copeland Street Wanganui; aged 61 years. Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave St. Mary's Church, Victoria Avenue, for the Aramoho Cemetery today (Wednesday, June 1, 1949), at the conclusion of Requiem Mass,’ which will be celebrated at 9 a.m.—Dempsey and Sons. Friends are respectfully informed that the funeral will leave the residence of her daughter, Mrs. L. A. Wood, 14 Peakes Road, St. John’s Hill, today (Wednesday, June 1), for the Aramoho Cemetery-, at the conclusion of a service which will commence at 2 p.m.—Fleming and Dick, 69 Guyton Street, Wanganui.
