Communists Resent Criticism By R.S.A. Dominion President
WELLINGTON. Last Night (PA)— Statements attributed to the president of the N.Z.R.S.A., Sir Howard Kippenberger, regarding Communism are the subject of a protest in a letter sent to Sir Howard by the general secretary of the New Zealand Communist Party (Mr Sid Scott). Mr Scott has made a request that a representative of the Communist Party be permitted to address the annual conference of the N.Z.R.S.A.. “in order to defend our honour from the unwarranted charges made against us and to explain to your association the real nature of our views on New Zealand’s foreign policy, peace and patriotism.”
