WOOL EXPORT OUTLOOK LESS REASSURING
Situation In Far East; S. Africa’s Action LONDON, May 30 (Recd. Bpm). The wool export trade outlook is less reassuring in consequence of unsettled conditions in the Far East, while South Africa’s announced suspension of free imports at the end of next month, and the substitution of an import quota system, is one of the biggest blows the British wool textile exporters have sustained for a long time, says the International Wool Secretariat special news service. Top quotations for delivery four months ahead are: 70’s A, U4d; 70’s B, 108 d; 64’s A, 105 d; 64’s B, 99d; 60’s super, 91d; 58’s, 74d; 56’s, 73d; sC’s, 40d; 48’s, 38d; 46’s, 37d.
