British Song SocietyJunior Group
The monthly meeting of the junior group of the British Song Society, was held on Saturday in the Girls’ College Assembly Hall, Madame Agnes Shearsby presided.
An interesting and instructive talk was given by Beverley Brittain entitled “Chopin and his music,” the pianoforte examples being played by Madame Shearsby, who was also associated with Jocelyn Wright in a duet. Solos were given by Barbara Wood (piano) and Neil Kenward (violinist) with Jacqueline Ferris as accompaniste.
