TIIMARU. Last Night (PA).—The final day of the South Canterbury Jockey Club’s winter meeting was held in fine weather at Washdyke on Saturday and attracted a good attendance. The totalisator handled £32,198 10s, as against £34,073 for the corresponding day last year. The total tor the meeting was £68,907, against £69,979 10s in 1948.
