SANDY'S CORNER
WARNING. Keep your foot off Ihe accelerator—the “electronic traffic cop” is on the beat, and he never lies. ANOTHER NAP! We felt elated this morning when we heard the cricket news. Admittedly, somebody in our crowd did say: “These Yorkshire bloi.es are terrible people to kid you along.” But we took no notice. We were on lop of the world, with our Harry in the team, too. Put what docs Pete do? Instead of getting all cricket minded and het up like us, he adopts his United Nations mood and goes to Icep. He had helped get Repuolican mdia into the Commonwealth team □nd with the score board at Bradford presenting a pleasing picture, he no doubt had a feeling that he had earned his nap. We found it difficult to contain our enthusiasm to that extent. We had-a quiet toast to the team, and sleep was the last thing we thought about; and it was very early on a Sunday morning!
