SIX RACE MEETINGS WILL CONCLUDE N.Z. AUTUMN CAMPAIGN TODAY
The autumn racing campaign will be concluded with the fixtures to be held today in the Dominion. These include meetings at Waverley, Te Aroha, Hastings, Blenheim, Ashburton and Invercargill, in addition to two trotting fixtures. The averley Steeplechase and the Besley Memorial will be the main events at Waverley. At the Hawke's Bay meeting the Te Mahanga Handicap is the feature race, and the Te Aroha Handicap will be the main event at the Auckland provincial fixture. The Marlborough Cup will be decided at Blenheim, where the four-day NelsonMarlborough circuit will be concluded on Monday. The Ashburton County Handicap and the Awarua Handicap (at the Southland meeting) are the feature flat events in the South Island. The Manawatu and Forbury Park trotting meetings will be concluded today.
