Princess Visits Isle Of Capri
ROME- April 28.—Cheers greeted Princess Margaret when she landed on the island of Capri today to continue her Italian holiday. The Princess arrived in a motor-boat of the Italian Navy which was formerly the private launch of the late King Victor Emmanuel 111. Before docking the launch made a tour of the island and
went to its noted blue grotto. An open car waited to take her a short distance to the square, where several hundred people had gathered to cheer her, and to her hotel ’
Nearly all the Italian newspapers, which have been giving much front page news to the Princess, have commented on her grave ana beauty.
Princess Marqaret To Visit Paris
PARIS, April 29 (Recd. 12.40 a.m.) —-Princess Margaret will visit Paris on her way home to Britain after her Italian tour, it was officially announced today. She will be the guest of the British Ambassador, Sir Oliver Harvey, and will spend several days in the French capital. Her Italian tour ends at Stresa. Princess Margaret will go from there to Paris by way of Lausanne. From Paris she will fly back to London.—Reuter.
