MAORI ARRESTED AFTER ANOTHER MAORI HAD BEEN FOUND INJURED
NEW PLYMOUTH. Last Night (PA) —Suffering from head injuries allegedly the outcome of an assault on Wednesday night, Alex Taueki, a Maori, aged 42 years, who lives at Puniho pa, about four miles south of Okato, libs seriously ill in the New Plymouth Hospital. Another Maori, 39-year-old widower. with several children, was arrested tonight and will appear in court tomorrow charged with assault with intent to commit bodily harm.
