MEMBERS OF LICENSING CONTROL COMMISSION HAVE BEEN APPOINTED
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA). —The names of three members of the Licensing Control Commission, whose appointments were made yesterday by the Governor-General, were announced last night by the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mason. Thy are:— Mr. A. M. Colliding, S.M., Wellington (chairman). Colonel B. Barrington, Wellington. Mr. L. C. Nisbet, public accountant, Wellington. The commission has been appointed in accordance with the Licensing Amendment Act passed last session of Parliament. A full-time tribunal, commission will assume its duties on June 1. The chahTnan’s appointment is for a term of five years. The terms of the other two members are for three and four years respectively. The member to retire at the end of three years shall be determined by agreement, or failing such agreement, by lot.
