NEW YORK, April 26.—Valentin Gubitchev, former Russian employee of United Nations, was released to- . day on 100,000 dollars bail. Gubitchev ’ was arrested with Judith Copion, I former Justice Department employ- ! ee, who has been charged with steal- I ing secret documents with intent to give them to Gubitchev. Gubitchev’s release followed lengthy arguments over the special conditions set for his release by the United States Government. The first secretary of the Russian Embassy, Lev Tolchonnikov, who posted bail, finally agreed to the terms, which stipulate that Gubitchev must not enter wharf, ship or airport, and must stay inside the Federal District of New York.
