Endurance Flight Lasted 42 Days
NEW YORK, April 26 (Recd 7.15 pm).—The endurance fliers Bill BarI ris and Dick Riedel landed their I Aeronca monoplane at Fullerton airport, California, today with a new world’s endurance flight record of 42 days 2min. They took off on March 15. Their small plane bore scars where gasoline cans banged against theside ns they were hauled up from a I speeding jeep four times daily for J refuelling. Th p fliers on April 14 i passed the old record of 726 hours set jin 1929.
