Duchess Of Gloucester To Launch New Rangitane
■ LONDON, April 27 (Recd 7.5 pm). I—The Duchess of Gloucestor will ' launch the new motor liner Rangitane . (19,000) from the Clydebank ship,l yard of John Brown, Ltd., on June 30. The ship, which will carry about I 400 passengers in one class, is being I built to the order of the New ZeaI land Shipping Company. ;l The Duchess went to Australia in 1944 in the Rimutaka, one of this ■ I company's ships, and came back in ■.the Rangitiki, a sister-ship of the first •| Rangitane, which was sunk in L November, 1940.—Special Correspon- ■ dent N.Z.P.A.
