Chrysanthemum Blooms Will Make Fine Show At Drill Hall Today
Good entries have neon received for the Wanganui Horticultural Society's autumn show, which will be held in the Drill Hall today and tomorro.v in conjunction with the National Chrysanthemum Show. Entries for the national show have been received from over a wide area and blooms of a high standard have come forward. The show will be officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Cullen) this afternoon and will be open both tonight and tomorrow night. Yesterday afternoon the arrangement of the flower ttails was carried out by members of the society, and this morning exhibitors will make a start arranging their blooms. In addition to the national display of chrysanthemums ther° is a wide variety of chrysanthemum sections in the Wanganui Horticultural Society's show in addition to cut flowers and decorative sections.
