Foreign Aid To Cost U.S. A Big Sum
WASHINGTON, April 22 'Recd. 6 PW*- — The Secretary of State, Mr. Acheson, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today that foreign military aid would cost the United States 1,400,000,000 dollars for the first year.
Committee members told reporters that Mr. Acheson said aid for Western Europe would comprise 75 per cent, of that figure and the rest would be necessary to bolster Greece, Turkey and Korea.
