AUCKLAND, Last Night (Special). —The Rotorua fixture tomorrow has relieved the Ellerslie fields somewhat, especially as some of the horses might not have been considered good enough to be pitted against the opposition at headquarters. However, many of them will probably be on hand for the second and third days of the Auckland meeting. Divisions have been arranged in the Whaka Nursery and the Ohinemutu Maiden.
