Bpm). —The United Nations General Assembly’s Social Committee today defeated a Polish proposal to allow Governments to ban correspondents who wtere connected with Fascist or Nazi organisations- or who are “known for their slanderous statements.” Poland sought the inclusion of these proposals in a proposed international convention on news gathering.
