Eight-oar Rowing Contest. The interprovincial eight-oar rowing contest for the Halliburton-John-stone Bowl will take place at Wellington on the Korokoro course today, commencing at 10 a.m. Seven crews have entered for the race, which will be an important Empire Games trial. Easter Accommodation. Accommodation in Wanganui last night was fully booked up. Hotels and boardinghouses were full and many persons seeking board were turned away. All the huts and cabins at the Aramoho Park motor camp, capable of accommodating 69 people, were taken. Nine caravans stayed the night at the park. Eleven tents were erected at the grounds and the occupiers were inconvenienced by the wet conditions. It is estimated that nearly 150 people stayed at Aramoho Park last night. The Castlecliff motor camp was also well patronised.
