Wanganui Women's Bowling Club
The closing day of the Wanganui Women’s Bowling Club s 1948-49 season was held on Saturday. Visitors from the Castlecliff and Gonville clubs and Mrs Killnek from the United Club, Christchurch' were present. The winners of the club’s competitions were: A singles, Mrs I. Dennison; A pairs, Mrs F. Dempster and Miss Marshall; B singles, Mrs P. Tinney; B pairs, Mesdames Tinney and Gray; handicap, Mrs T. Dennison; club fours. Mesdames Murray, McKenzie- Purnell, Dennison (skip).
