Values Fully Firm At Late Rates At Wanganui Sale
Because of Easter week, entries in all sections of the Wanganui stock sale yesterday were lighter than usual, but values were fully firm on late rates, report the auctioneers, Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co-., Ltd. Realisations were: Sheep: Light wethers, 40s to 42s 2d; ewes to £27s 9d; lambs 325;
11 medium 2-tooth ewes, £44s 3d; ditto < I wethers, 37s lid; wether lambs, 28s. . I Cattle: Light bullocks, £l5 7s 6d; 2 crossbred steers. £l2 6s; boner cows, £4 10s, £5 2s Gd, £7; Jersey weaner 1.1 heifers, £4. £5, £5 10s, £6. I Pigs: Porkers, £3 7s 6d to £3 15s; s| stores, £1 Ils to £2 10s; slips, 19s to ; 31s; weaners, 9s, 10s 7d.
