DUNEDIN, Last Night (P.A.)— Aviation fuel contracts have been allocated by the Government to the British Petroleum Company of New Zealand, Ltd., without reference to competitive tenders by established oil companies, according to a statement made byMr. H. I. Sinclair, manager in Dunedin for the Shell Oil Company. Mr. Sinclair stated further that the Bureau of Industry is operating in such a way as to give British Petroleum, in which the New Zealand Government has a large interest, unfair preference.
