Accidental Discovery Of Power Fluid, Said To Be Like Petrol

SYDNEY, Feb. 22 (Rec. 6 p,m.) —A dental mechanic, Mr. K. C. Shipworth, claims that while mixing chemicals, some of which accidentally fell into a tin of water, he discovered power fluid at least as good as petrol. He tested it in a heavy car engine and found it gave 21 miles to the gallon. The liquid would cost 9d to Is a gallon. Fifty per cent, water could be added. A syndicate is being formed to study the possibilities.
