Canadian Production
OTTAWA. Feb 12- -Canadian produced 15,350,000,000 dollars’ worth of goods and services in 1948, an increase of 15 per cent, over 1947. The increase. however, is attributed mainly to increased prices, as indicated by the 14 per cent, rise in the cost of living index in 1948. The estimated national income is 12,802,000.000 dollars, compared with 10,981,000,000 dollars in 1947. The most striking gain was in the agricultural income, which increased from 1.200,000,000 dollars in 1947 to 1,700,000,000 dollars in 1948.
