Wanganui Entries Close Tomorrow
The Wanganui Jockey Club’s autumn meeting, to b e held on February 5 and 12, will claim the attention of owners and trainers tomorrow, nominations closing at 5 p.m. Main events are the Wanganui Cup, with a stake of £l5OO, including a go’d cup valued at £lOO, and th e Earle Stakes, worth £lOOO. The weight-for-age Jackson Stakes on the second day will be worth £lO5O, including a trophy.
