RESULTS OF PLAY LAST SATURDAY VETERANS’ DAY NEXT THURSDAY. A tricky wind troubled bowlers in Wanganui on Saturday. Otherwise conditions were good. There were smaller attendances than usual, due, m the main, to a number of players being in Auckland for the New Zealand championships. On Monday next the club’s annual visit to the Feilding Bowling Club is to take place. Members wishing to take part are asked to see that their names are placed on the board by Saturday next. A bus will leave the club’s green at 7.45 a.m. on Monday. Members will be the guests of the Feilding Club at dinner.
