Entertainment At Girls’ College

An afternoon entertainment was given at the Girls’. College yesterday for parents and friends. It was intended to be an out-of-doors function, but owing to the heavy rain during the morning it was held in Ihe school hall, which was crowded. A short talk was given by the principal, Miss M. E. Baker- The entertainment given by the pupils consisted of drill display by the winners of the drill competition; the nlav scene from act V “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” by members of the Drama Club; Maori stick games by Form 111 (mixed group): verse speaking. “Wind.
